NO-SLIP GRIP YOU CAN COUNT ON.

Designed to stretch with your foot, the Nike Air Huarache has remained a sneaker staple since its 1991 debut, when it changed the face of running footwear forever. The Nike Air Huarache Gripp throws back to the original design and then ups the ante with modern details and a sure-footed tread.

    Superior Traction

An aggressive, updated tread provides excellent traction for stability.

    Comfortable Support

An elastic heel strap and an outer cage offer extra support and the classic Huarache look. Air-Sole units cushion each step for all-day comfort. A TPU clip provides additional stability.

    Snug Fit

A knit stretch bootie hugs the foot for a snug, sock-like fit.

  • Air Huarache Origins

Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1991, the Nike Air Huarache shook up the running world. The idea behind the design was a bold one: to combine the functionality of South American sandals with the fit of neoprene waterski boots. The risk paid off. The Air Huarache was such a hit that it soon found its way to basketball courts and then the streets, where it earned its status as an icon.
